| At the airport |
New immigrants are greeted at Ben Gurion airport by representatives of the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption, who offer them a warm welcome and take care of their initial registration in Israel. The immigrants receive the first installment of the Absorption Basket (Sal Klita), an immigrant certificate (Teudat Oleh) and are transported free of charge to anywhere they wish in Israel.
